For the second year in a row, the 100 Club of Chicago hit the streets on “Giv- ing Tuesday” to deliver a message of ap- preciation — and cookies — to Chicago Police Officers and other first respond- ers around the City.
Staff members from the 100 Club made several stops, including the Chi- cago Police Department Training Acad- emy and Lodge 7, to drop off sweet treats and other goodies as a way to say thank you to officers for all they do to keep the public safe every day. Jew- el-Osco provided the cookies dropped off at various CPD locations throughout Chicago during the day.
For the last 51 years, the 100 Club has provided financial assistance to fami- lies of first responders from Cook and Lake counties who died in the line of duty.d
