Lamp Black Light Avocado Taffy Cream Titanium White
ENAMEL TABLEWARE
STEP 1: Transfer the pattern of the enamelware and frame. Draw the pattern with a permanent black pen. Use a ruler for straight lines, a French curve for curved lines, and a circle tem- plate for circles. Use a compass with a permanent black pen for the curved line of the dish. Dry with a blow dryer. Use tape to mask off the straight rim areas and basecoat the rims with Deep Midnight Blue.
STEP 2: Apply masking tape to the table area. Apply masking tape right above the rim and to the right and left side of each enamelware piece. Apply a wash of Light Ivory to the enamelware. STEP 3: Sideload the 1" wash brush with Titanium White and paint a back-to-back float in the center of each enamelware piece. Using a no. 16 flat, shade the base with a sideload of Lamp Black (see Value Map A) Repeat the highlighting process with Titanium White. Using a no. 16 flat, shade the base with a sideload of Lamp Black (see Value Map A).
STEP 4: Using the no. 5/0 script liner, highlight the center of each blue rim with Titanium White.
STEP 5: Add reflected light with a sideload of Grey Sky (see Value Map B). Use a sideload of Calypso Orange to apply accents (see Value Map B).
RUST
STEP 1: Using a no. 6 scumbling brush, add the rust in spots with Asphaltum. Walk a brush from the center of the rust to the sides and gradually make the rust look lighter.
STEP 2: Repeat the rust painting process to make the center of the rust darker.
