STEP 2: Shade the two bottom corners of the top piece with floated Saffron Yellow+tch Honey Brown. Shade the other piece around the outer edge, behind the top cheese, and in the hole with Mustard Seed.
STEP 3: Line both pieces with very thin Mustard Seed+tch Honey Brown.
STEP 4: Highlight the top piece on the outer edges with floated Snow White, and then add lines of Snow White to brighten the highlights.
GREEN GRAPES
STEP 1: Basecoat the grapes with Green Tea.
STEP 2: Wash the grapes with Margarita. Transfer the pattern for the grapes and the branches. Shade around the inside of each grape and where one lies on another with
Margarita+tch Irish Moss, just to darken it a little.
STEP 3: Deepen the crevices where one lies on another with a little more Irish Moss in the Margarita.
STEP 4: Highlight the grapes with floated Snow White. Dry-brush a highlight on each grape, then add a tiny white dot using the no. 10/0 liner tip, right in the middle of the dry-brushing. The branches and the grapes’ holes (where the vines attach) are Burnt Umber. Add a wash of Burnt Um- ber to the little gaps where the background shows through.
NAPKIN, PLASTIC SILVERWARE, AND BOW
STEP 1: Basecoat the napkin with Light Buttermilk. Let dry. Transfer the pattern, including the fork, knife, and spoon. Shade the napkin with Antique White.
