PREPARATION
Basecoat the surface with equal amounts of Lamp (Ebony) Black and DecoArt Traditions Multi-Surface Sealer. When dry, sand lightly. Apply a second coat of Lamp (Ebony) Black. When dry, transfer pattern with light graphite.
LET’S PAINT LEAVES
STEP 1: Basecoat the leaves with Pine Green.
STEP 2: When dry, dampen with DecoArt Traditions Extender & Blending Medium and wipe off excess. Apply shadow of a brush- mix of Pine Green+Prussian Blue. Apply across the stem end of the leaf and then down one side of the vein area. Tip of leaf is a touch of Permanent Alizarin Crimson burnish.
STEP 3: When dry, dampen again and apply Hansa Yellow Medium lightly.
STEP 4: Any desired linework is Raw Sienna thinned with water.
