Sand the box well and apply a coat of DecoArt Multi- Purpose Sealer. Allow to dry. Basecoat the inside of the center circle (where the Santa design will be) with two coats of Winter Blue. Basecoat the inside of the lid with two coats of Hauser Dark Green. Base the rest of the box (inside and out) with two coats of Lamp Black. Sand lightly
between coats. Transfer the design. Do not add facial fea- tures or detail lines at this time.
Basecoat the poinsettias with two coats of Santa Red followed by two coats of Naphthol Red, painting one petal at a time to set direction and divisions. Basecoat the leaves with Leaf Green. Base the fur with Honey Brown. Basecoat the cloak with Sapphire.
