Greetings friends family and fans of UNiCORN SPiT!
For 47 years The Society of Decorative Painters (SDP) has embraced a multitude of different mediums from oils to acrylics to colored pencils. Now, SDP is exceptionally proud to welcome the newest branch of membership: UNiCORN SPiT Members – a Division of the Society of Decorative Painters.
As you may already know, I am an untrained artist and now entrepreneur. I created this certified nontoxic, no VOC, aromatherapy infused, chemical-free product in my kitchen!!! Over the past 5 years, SPiT has expanded from my kitchen, cooked up in a spaghetti pot, to the shelves of Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Ace Hardware, JoAnn’s, Home Depot, Walmart and more.
UNiCORN SPiT is so versatile it can be used on wood, plastic, metal, glass, fabric and just about everything. Honestly, there has not been a surface we have found yet that it does not work on. It can be used fully concentrated with its high color pigment, much like high quality acrylics. The pigmentation is as high as the most sought-after watercolor. The minerals and dyes are so friendly and potent that we can tint other water based mediums to create self-sealing stains, dishwasher safe glass paint and washing machine safe fabric paint. I’ve been having fun using SPiT to tint epoxy and making my own alcohol inks. Then of course...by adding a little water, SPiT becomes a one coat wood stain that’s friendly to use indoors by everyone no matter your age, abilities or disabilities. (That is after all where it all started.)
Our unique art has gone global! The once small group has become a huge TRiBE of artists and creators who have become loyal users of UNiCORN SPiT. You’ve followed my journey and I’ve listened to your expression of interest for more creative guidance, special offers and education, especially on how to use and harness all of UNiCORN SPiT’s shapeshifting MAGiC. Well, now you have it!
SDP and UNiCORN SPiT are very excited to offer this special membership to you, the people who have made this little dream a reality. By being a part
of our division, you will be provided the opportunity to learn fancy painting techniques, expand your skills, widen your knowledge and fully submerge into this industry that we all love.
