PREPARATION
If using wood, sand the rough edges. Mix a bit of wa- ter with Pure Black paint and roll onto the surface. Allow to dry. Sand with a piece of brown paper bag. Roll on a second coat. When painting the rough edges, dampen first with water and using a wash brush, paint with the thinned Pure Black. Repeat, then allow to dry.
If using a canvas, roll on the thinned Pure Black paint. Dry and then roll on a second coat.
Transfer pattern to surgace, omitting pine needles
