sections with Citron Green and third section with Burnt Orange. Also, place small- er inside section of each leaf with Foliage Green.
FLOWER 4: Skip any lining on outside top, and start with lining the first Baby Blue section with Citron Green. The Lavender section is lined with Dioxazine Purple, and there is a line of same color almost to the bottom of the V between the leaves. Also place some small lines on top of the Baby Blue section coming upward to the Lavender section.
STEP 3
FINISHING THE FLOWERS
Using your no. 1 liner, complete all the detailing on the flowers.
FLOWER 1: Place comma-strokes on each Dioxazine Purple section using Saffron Yellow. Then add small comma-strokes inside the Saffron Yellow section. Finally, pull lines of Hauser Dark Green on top of each leaf, outlining each leaf as well. FLOWER 2: Place three long comma-strokes on top of the fourth Saffron Yellow section. Pull Hauser Dark Green vein line and outline each leaf.
FLOWER 3: Pull two Saffron Yellow comma-strokes on top of the Dioxozine Pur- ple section, and line each leaf area with Hauser Dark Green.
FLOWER 4: Place line of Burnt Orange along bottom of the Lavender section on top of the Baby Blue section. Place Saffron Yellow dots on the Lavender section. Finally, line the leaves with Hauser Dark Green.
All stems on flowers have pulled lines of Hauser Dark Green with highlight of Foliage Green near center of stems.
The final element of design is to place the checks neatly around the outside edge of the clock glass. With the no. 10 chisel blender and Lavender, leave the width of the brush between strokes. Pick any color of the palette colors of your choice. I used Lavender.
FINISHING
When all the paint is completely dry, place your clock glass in a cool oven. Turn on the oven to 350 degrees and set the timer for 45 minutes. Then turn off the oven and allow the surface to cool before removing from oven.
When the surface has been cooled and removed from the oven, you are ready to assemble the clock to enjoy!
