PAINTING TIPS
Comma Stroke: Dip your paint brush into the paint to get paint on both sides of the brush. Lean the tip of the paint brush and begin brushing, then softly rotate your hand so that the tip of the paint brush touches tip of the petal at the end of the stroke.
Floating Technique: Submerge your no. 1⁄4" angular brush, and remove the excess water on the border of the water cup. Dip the tip of the brush into the paint and then slide the brush onto the color palette so that the paint and the water mix together. Then, apply onto the surface of the bottle.

 Using your no. 6 filbert, Cat’s Tongue brush with Orchid Blossom, paint each of the flower’s petals with a comma stroke.
Let dry completely.
Using your no. 1⁄4" angular brush with Purple Mix, paint the top of each petal using the floating technique to leave the color on the border of each brushstroke.
For the center of the flower, apply the Christmas Red in the shape of a circle. Let dry completely. With your no. 1⁄4" angular brush, use the floating technique using Christmas Red and over that using the color Pure Black, then slide that onto your color palette and apply the mix onto the bottom part of the circle.
Using the no 6 filbert, Cat’s Tongue with Seamist, paint comma strokes and let dry completely.
Using the no. 1⁄4" angular brush with Midnight Gar- den, perform the floating technique on the upper part of each brushwork.
SMALL CIRCLES
Using your no. 6 filbert, Cat’s Tongue brush, apply a basecoat of Yellow Ochre and let dry completely. Float Yel- low Lemon on the upper most part of that circle.
MEDIUM CIRCLES
Apply a basecoat of Blue Sapphire and let dry com- pletely. Float a layer of Thunder Blue over the top.
