PREPARATION
Trace pattern onto a 9"x 12" white canvas board or project piece of your choice basecoated with Titanium White. Use the chisel edge of the 1⁄2" flat brush with Hauser Green Medium to tap in the background tree shapes. Outline the top of the car shape with thin Hauser Green Medium.
Use the liner to pull Hauser Green Medium up from the bottom to paint tall grasses. Dry. Next, with a thin wash of Hauser Green Medium, pull across horizontally. Let dry.
Paint the sky over the tree shapes with Baby Blue.
LET’S PAINT
BASES
With a thin wash of Barnyard Red fill in the red stripes on the truck. Let dry. Use Pure Black to paint the shadows under and in the truck and the vertical lines on the truck door.
Paint the rock in the bed of the truck Country Grey.
TRUCK
Paint the hood Titanium White. While wet add blue shadows with True Blue+Titanium White (1:1). Add more True Blue for shadow shapes. Let dry. Float a wash of Mid- night Blue over shadows. Let dry. Add Titanium White stars. Let dry.
