PREPARATION
Please read through all instructions before beginning to paint. Refer to the Step-by-Steps and pattern throughout the painting process. Most basecoats with require two coats. Seal surface with one coat of DecoArt Traditions Multi-Sur- face Sealer. Basecoat the container and finial with two coats of Medium White. Basecoat the center section on top of the lid with two coats of Pink Mix. (See page 74.) Basecoat the band at the top of the container with two coats of Medium Green Mix. Basecoat the beaded trim with one coat of Light Green Mix. It’s okay to see wood through the paint.

SKY AND GROUND
The sky fades from pink at the top edge to Medium White at the bottom edge. A wet-on-wet technique is used to achieve this effect.
