I have enjoyed painting on enameled ware such as kettles, plates and cups recently and I have been using them for everyday life. I think that is the origin of decorative painting. The paints that I am using in Japan are called Porcelaine 150 by Pebeo Co. My method does not require a troublesome basecoat and varnish, so you can enjoy it without stress.
This particular product offers a very nice variety of colors and is easily made permanent by baking in a home kitchen oven. Porcelaine 150 lets you redecorate your household china and your enamelware in bright, cheerful colors. You can purchase them in the United States as well as in Europe.
