Using the #14 Shader, float Hauser Medium Green onto the grass areas above the driveway. Use the mop to soften any brush strokes. Dry and repeat the floats to deepen the colors. Use the #8 Shader to add a shadow on the ground on the left side of the house and the left side of the barn.
Use the round brush to add the driveway with Zinc. Shade the driveway here and there with Graphite using the #8 Shader. Using the same brush, highlight some driveway areas with Grey Sky.
Float Hauser Medium Green in the grassy areas below the driveway. Leave some darkness show through. This will give it the appearance of little clumps of grass instead of a smooth float. Use the #8 Shader to float some Hauser Light Green in some of the brightest areas.
TREES AND SHRUBS
Use the round brush to add some little shrubs in front of the house and barn with Black Green by tapping in the color. Tap in a little Hauser Light Green to highlight.
Basecoat the tree trunks with Charcoal Grey using the liner or round brush. Add a touch of water to Charcoal Grey to make an inky consistency. Use the liner brush to add the branches by pulling them up and out from the trunk. Make sure they get thinner as you pull out toward the tip of the branch. Use the #8 Shader to highlight the trunks on the right side with Driftwood. Use the liner to highlight some of the branches with Driftwood. Load the Mezzaluna brush with a small amount of Hauser Medium Green to add the foliage on the trees. Lightly tap in some leaves onto the branches. You want to still see through the trees since it is spring and the leaves are just starting to appear. Turn the brush to change the direction to make it look natural. Using the dirty brush, very lightly tap in some highlights on the leaves here and there with Celery Shoot.
Add a Black Green shadow on the ground on the left side of each tree trunk using the #8 Shader. Use the round brush to add a light Soft Black shadow on the roof, front of the house and the porch from the big tree next to the house.
Highlight some sunny areas of the grass with a float of Celery Shoot with the #14 Shader. TREES
