nature blesses us every day with wonderful gifts, and every season holds something charming and new. When autumn arrives we can smell the leaves,
the flowers, and the even the sweet scent of ripening fruit in the crisp air. Fall colors create a magnificent palette that is delightfully soothing to the soul.
PREPARATION
Sand the wood in the direction of the grain, and then re- move debris with tack cloth.
Basecoat the entire shelf with three coats of Shale Green+Light Gray (1:1), allowing it to dry between each coat. Transfer the pattern onto tracing paper. Position the pat- tern perfectly around the cutout edge of the shelf and secure it with painter’s tape. Place the transfer paper between the wood and the tracing paper, coated side down, and lightly transfer the design with a stylus. Use light pressure to avoid
damaging the surface.
