  VINES
Add a touch of water to Medium Hauser Green and, with the script liner, add the vines around the pattern. The water will help the paint flow nicely. The stroke work on the vines is done with Hauser Medium Green and the no. 1 round.
LEAVES
The leaves along the vine are done with a double load of color in one single move- ment. Load the no. 4 filbert brush with Hauser Light Green on one side and Hauser Dark Green on the other side. Tap once lightly on your palette to blend colors slightly. Start with the brush flat against the vine and slowly bring it out while turning the brush onto the edge into a point. Practice a few times on your palette to get the feel of the motion.
FINISHING
Randomly add Splendid Gold dots in groups of three around the piece. Let dry completely. Erase any remaining transfer lines. Apply two to three coats of Minwax Polycrylic Varnish Clear Satin, letting it dry completely between each coat.
