Now you can get out your colored pencils to paint the hands, face, and neck. Pressure and pencil points are very important when you are using colored pencils, so here is how I will be referring to them in these directions. There are five pressures: 1 - whisper soft, 2 - soft, 3 - writ- ing pressure, 4 - noticeable pressure, and 5 - heavy pres- sure. In this project you will only use the first three. The pencil points are as follows: very sharp, sharp, medium, and dull.
Use a very sharp point with 2 pressure (soft) to draw on facial features with Burnt Ochre and fill in the eyes with a very light touch. (See Step-by-Step above.)
Use a sharp point and 1 pressure (whisper soft) with one coat each of Cream and Light Peach. Apply linear stroke on skin areas. Then layer one light coat of Deco Pink, sharp point,
Use a 2 - soft pressure in a circular motion. Next use one layer of Peach with 2 pressure, a sharp point, in a circular motion and a second coat if needed to create smooth skin and a soft flesh tone. Use Burnt Ochre for
