“MAKE WITH PAINT” A BEGINNER PAINTER PROGRAM
IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CHAPTERS
Make with Paint is a great program designed to
bring decorative painting to the beginner painter in a
kit that can be done alone or in a group. The program
consists of a kit and a video learning series that can be
purchased separately. The kit contains all the supplies and
surfaces needed to complete the three projects featured.
The Society of Decorative Painters is offering a program
to chapters where they can create a workshop in their
community and use the Make with Paint program to
educate their new painters and get paid by SDP to do
so. Chapters will simply complete the Make with Paint
Chapter Workshop form located in the Chapter Toolkit
to order a kit for each new painter at the reduced SDP
member cost. The Video series is included in the kit. Members of Chapters will be able to use the videos to enhance their workshops and teach new painters basic skills. Using the video series and kits will make this an easy workshop for your chapter to conduct. And it gets better – SDP will pay your chapter a commission for providing this Make with Paint chapter workshop. That’s right, your chapter gets paid to share decorative painting with new painters.
