COLOR MIXES
Brush Mixes: You can mix ahead on your palette or brush- mix as you go.
Background Color: Medium White+Raw Sienna (3:1)
Olive Green Mix: Hansa Yellow+Carbon Black+Yellow Oxide (1:tch:tch). Add Carbon Black a little at a time.
Brown Mix: Burnt Sienna+Burnt Umber (1:1)
Dark Red Mix: Burgundy+Red Violet (1:1)
Blue Mix: Ultramarine Blue+Aquamarine (1:1)
Blue Green Mix: Blue Mix+Hansa Yellow+Warm White (1:tch:tch)
Violet Mix: Red Violet+Warm White (1:1)
PREPARATION
Apply one coat of DecoArt Traditions Multi-Surface Sealer to the plaque using a 3⁄4" oval wash. Dry and lightly sand. Basecoat with two coats of Background Color. Apply two coats of Burgun- dy to the four corners. Paint the outside edges and back with Carbon Black. Sand lightly and remove sanding dust with a damp paper towel.
