ROOSTER
STEP 1
Basecoat feathers using shape following strokes.
Basecoat and shade comb and wattle, face, and beak.
Highlight cheek
Shade to separate feathers.
Highlight comb and wattle. Basecoat eye area and pupil.
Stroke feathers.
Add some green feathers to breast area.
Highlight comb and wattle.
Pull linework to add more shading.
Add some dark brown feathers to the breast area.
Highlight the strokes on the legs and feet.
Shade back of legs and add stroke-feet.
STEP 2
Start adding tail feathers. 1. Dark Red
2. Naphthol Red Light 3. Dark Brown
STEP 3
Add colorful tail feathers.
Add more tail feathers to loosen and fluff.
