ANNIVERSARY MEMBERSHIP AMENDMENT
This year we are amending our membership from a calendar year membership cycle (January through December) to an anniversary date membership cycle (one year from your official join date). Read our Anniversary Membership Q&A on page 8 to get answers to all the questions you may have regarding this change.

Your 2017 membership card will be emailed to you in February. For members who do
not have an email address, your membership card will be mailed. If you do not receive your membership card by the end of February, please contact Tanya Horn, Membership & Chapters Coordinator, at (316) 269-9300 ext. 105 or email her at tanya@decorativepainters.org.
Your membership card entitles you to SDP member discounts. Also, you must bring your card to attend and vote for the Board of Directors at our Annual Meeting in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The following Chapter forms are due soon:
2016 Chapter Achievement Award Form: We are looking forward to hearing about all your great chapter events this year! Complete and submit this form by February 16, 2017 in order to be eligible for the Chapter Achievement Award, which recognizes chapters for efforts in activities that promote painting.
2016 Treasurer’s Year-End Report: This is a required report on chap- ter finance, which is also due by February 16, 2017.
IRS Form 990-N: This electronic form is located at irs.gov/forms or epostcard@urban.org and must be completed by May 15, 2017, for the 2016 tax year. Remember to use your full chapter name
(no abbreviations). Please remember to mail or email SDP a copy
of the postcard receipt. Your chapter risks losing your tax-exempt status if this annual report is not filed. All chapter forms are available online at www.decorativepainters.org/chapters.
