 ORDER YOUR CERTIFICATION PORTFOLIO BY FEBRUARY 28
The deadline to order your Certification portfolio for participation in this year’s Certification Program is February 28. The portfolio includes instructions, a line drawing of the design, paperwork explaining how the judging process works, and additional program information. You can order the Certification portfolio for the Accredited Decorative Painter (ADP) level, Certified Decorative Artist (CDA) level, or Master Decorative Artist (MDA) level online in the SDP Boutique. Registration for our 45th Annual SDP International Conference & Expo, taking place May 16-20, 2017 in Daytona Beach, Florida, is open! Dive into our Conference theme “Oceans of Color” and register for our painting classes, social events and Expo shopping throughout the week.

MEET THE BOARD CANDIDATES
Go to page 14 to see the nominees and their qualifications for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors. You are invited to vote for your new Board of Directors at the Annual Meet- ing, taking place Thursday, May 18 from 9:30 a.m.–Noon during the 45th Annual SDP International Conference & Expo in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Members who are unable to attend the Annual Meeting can vote via an absentee bal- lot. See page 15 for more information on the voting process.
CALL TO ALL ARTISTS – 2017 ART SHOW
You are invited to participate in the 2017 Conference Art Show exhibition, May 19-20, 2017, at Ocean Center. This event is open to all decorative painters. This is a wonderful opportunity to display your artwork and be recognized for your talent and skill as a decorative artist!
Artwork entered must be entirely your own work but the design may be of another artist. There are three divisions that you may enter and 10 categories within each division. You may submit one piece per category in your Division. (See below). The entry forms may be found online at decorativepainters.org. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. Bring your artwork to the Expo area at conference in Daytona.
Winners will be announced and recognized at the Annual Banquet. There is a $50 award for the Peoples’ Choice Award.

THREE DIVISIONS ARE: Non-Professional, Professional, and Beginner/Student. There is a fee of $25 and $5 for each additional category. One entry per category. Example: first submission $25.00 + three additional submissions $15 = $40.
