                                                                                                                                  FINISHING
Give the entire piece two coats of Jo Sonja’s Clear Glaze Medium. Dry completely. I like to let my piece dry over- night. Give the entire piece three coats of Jo Sonja’s Poly- urethane Satin Varnish. I have recently started to mix my varnish with Jo Sonja’s Flow Medium instead of water. I do this to make the varnish easier to apply. Use just as
much of Jo Sonja’s Flow Medium as needed to help the varnish flow smoothly. To ensure the durability of the varnish, do not over-dilute. A 3⁄4" wash brush would work well on this piece for varnishing. It is a good idea to use a brush that is designated as a varnish brush. Varnish may reactivate dried paint in a brush creating unwanted color on your piece.
