Our college Political Science Department
in association with IQAC celebrated Jyotiba

Phule Jyanthi, the 193 birth anniversary of
Jyotirao Govindrao Phule, an Indian writer,
social activist, thinker and anti-caste social
reformer on 11 April 2022. We, the staff and
students remembered him for his efforts in
educating women and lower caste people and his
role on the eradication of untouchability and the
caste system, and women’s emancipation and
paid homage to him.
AMBEDKAR JAYANTHI
Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is an annual
festival observed on 14 April to commemorate the
memory of B. R. Ambedkar, an Indian polymath, a
politician, an economist, Constitution of India,
Ambedkar also advocated for women’s rights and
labours’ rights.
Our college Political Science Department in
association with IQAC celebrated Ambedkar Jayanthi
on 13 April 2022 and we, the staff and students
recollected his contribution to the nation and paid
humble tributes to the architect of the Indian Constitution.
