                             WORKING ALONE Issued:
                               Store Employees July 2019
                                                               Replaces:

               Objective:

               This policy aims to:
 Create and promote a safe work environment to protect employees who work alone and
ensure that RCL meets and exceeds applicable provincial legislation
 To define the notion of working alone
 Establish and clarify responsibilities to ensure the safety of employees working alone
 Outline how to use the program in place

               Scope of the Policy:

In order to protect employees and ensure their safety, RCL has an emergency assistance program
called Security Mate, in partnership with a third party supplier Safetyline.

This policy applies to all store employees. Working alone is defined as when an employee does
not have access to any immediate assistance in the event of an emergency, injury or illness.
Working alone also means being alone in the store for more than one hour (excluding the
presence of customers in the store).

               Security Mate Procedures:

When working alone, employees must follow the following steps:

                   1. Confirm that they are indeed working alone by connecting to Safetyline. The employee
can connect to the system in several ways, either by using the store phone, the store's
IPad, or his/her own cell phone. Training tools are available in store and on RCL Forum
that outline how to download the Safetyline App and how to use the system

                   2. Once the employee is connected to the system, the employee must do a check-in at least
every hour and he/she will have the opportunity to check-in at any time. If a check-in is
not completed within an hour, an automated phone call will be made by Safetyline to the
store and the employee will have to follow the prompted instructions in order to
successfully complete the check-in. If there is no answer then the system will try calling
the store two more times (5 minutes interval) before cascading the call to our emergency
call center. This call center will complete one final attempt to connect with the employee
                       before sending any help

The use of a personal cell phone is optional but allows employees accessing additional safety
options including: emergency button, shake for panic and fall detection. Note that employees
