(An NGO has collaborated with our Vidyalaya for the implementation of a 04-year
project which was initiated in 2020).
About the Project
1. Water management is the first step taken up as part of the project in the first
year under which an underground soakage pit is built in the school grounds
to harness the water stagnation is underway and functional rainwater
harvesting.
2. Activities for the second year involve waste management wherein leaf
composters and disposal of dry wastes in the Vidyalaya campus is planned.
3. The third phase includes conservation of electricity by switching to CFL bulbs
Student awareness, participation is important in all the stages of implementation
74 students from VI standard actively participated in the first session on
Conservation organized by TIDE
