Aims of the Home Economics Programme
1.Preparing qualitative teachers highly skilled
in the different domains of the programme:
nutrition and food preparation, clothing and
textiles, home and institution management,
and other related practical fields and
applications.
2.Helping graduates to acquire the capacity for
introducing continuous innovations in the
different domains of the programme.
3.Helping graduates to acquire the ability to
successfully compete in the labour market
with their peers from other corresponding
local and international faculties.
4.Providing training, research, and advisory
services concerning the different domains of
the programme to the graduates and
interested individuals in the local society.
5.Having a significant contribution towards
the problems of the civil society and the
environment.
