1) Some nouns have different plural forms Example:

2) Nouns ending in vowels like ‘y’ or ‘o’ do not have definite rules.
Example:

toy - toys
kidney - kidneys
potato - potatoes
photo - photos
stereo - stereos
3) A few nouns have the same singular and plural forms.
