1. Provide Transparency and Visibility
When everyone understands the organization and team goals, it creates alignment and shared knowledge. With everyone on the same page, goals can show a clear path to success and serve as a guide in decision-making. It also can help build coordination and dependency alignment among teams and coworkers.
2.Include Everyone in the Goal-Setting Process
Give employees ownership in setting and tracking their goals. This promotes buy-in and accountability.
3.Provide Real-Time Progress Updates and
Adjust Goals Frequently
All employees need to be aware how they’re tracking toward their goals. Ensure they have access to real-time progress so they can adjust their work accordingly to increase efforts or shift focus based on goal achievement.
