GLOSSARY
                        Abdomen       :  The  part  of  the  body  that  contains  the  digestive  organs.  in
                                      humans, between the diaphragm and the pelvis
                       Anus            :  The  opening  at  the  end  of  the  digestive  system  through  which
                                      feces (feces) exit the body.

                        Chyme         :  Food  in  the  stomach  that  is  partially  digested  and  mixed  with
                                      stomach acid, chyme continues its journey to the small intestine for
                                      further digestion

                        Esophagus     :  The  long  tube  between  the  mouth  and  the  stomach.  Using
                                      rhythmic muscle movements (called peristalsis) to force food from
                                      the throat into the stomach
                        Gallbladder  : A small, sac-like organ located near the Duodenum. Which stores
                                      and releases bile (a digestive chemical produced in the liver) into
                                      the small intestine.

                        Gastritis     :  Inflammation  of  the  mucous  membranes  of  the  stomach  and
                                      intestines.

                        Ileum          :  The  last  part  of  the  small  intestine  before  the  large  intestine
                                      begins.
                        Jejunum       :  Part  of  the  small  intestine  that  is  long,  coiled  in  the  middle;
                                      jejunum between the Duodenum and ileum.

                        Liver          : Large organ located above and in front of the stomach. The liver
                                      filters toxins from the blood and makes bile (which breaks down
                                      fats) and some blood proteins.

                        Mouth         : The first part of the digestive system, where food enters the body

                        Peristalsis   :  Rhythmic muscle movement  that forces  Food  in  the esophagus
                                      from the throat into the stomach
