Note how in this example, the client has a risk number of 39,
but her portfolio risk number is nearly twice as high at 76. This
means the client is constantly in a state of agitation over her
portfolio. When we brought her in, adjusted her portfolio to
one much more in line with her risk tolerance, she became
much less stressed. Over time, she has become a very happy
client because her portfolio isn’t bouncing around like crazy
and she feels much more in control of her life.
