ATMOSPHERIC POLLUTANT’S IMPACTS
This week, Mr. Essang’s Year 10 Environmental Management class had a presentation on the topic The Atmosphere and
Human Activities.
The objective was to ensure that at the end of the lesson, students should be able to explore the impacts of various at-
mospheric pollutants on people and the environment.
In their previous lessons, they had explored the structure and composition of the atmosphere, the natural greenhouse, the
causes of atmospheric pollution, with reference to smog, acid rain, ozone layer depletion, and enhanced greenhouse ef-
fect.
In this class activity, we explored the impact of atmospheric pollution. Students were asked to make a presentation on
the impact of various atmospheric pollutants on people and the environment.
