    Olympic gold in Korea, Jones went on to have one of the greatest careers of any fighter in his era.  He became a World
    Champion in four weight classes, having held titles at middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and
    heavyweight; and is the only boxer in history to start his professional career at light middleweight and go on to win a
    heavyweight title. Roy was his own man in every way and helped change the way Boxers controlled their careers and
    has continued to have success as a broadcaster and promoter.























                 Roy got in the ring with Smitty at the Mandalay Bay Arena in Las Vegas and demonstrated how
                 his incredible athletic skills enabled him to dominate his opponents for well over a decade

























             In This Corner premiered on April 1 2004 on the Empire Sports Network broadcasting in Upstate New
