The activities of speaking and writing are the channels of people's mind and feeling.
one of the purposes of speaker speaks and writer writes respectively is to reveal their authentic
meanings. The fact that not all of the readers and listeners are not in the same page,
considering their background, their culture, their status, or their perception, can hinder the
revelation of the speaker's and the writer's authentic meanings.
Therefore, speaker and writer mostly function the concept of politeness in their language.
Politeness can spring up warm, accepted, humble, honest, and respected connection. but what
happens in the real life? say in the classroom. What are the directives that the teacher or the
lecturer uses to reveal their purposes? How is the concept of politeness applied or embedded in
the teacher or the lecturer's directives?
