INSIDE AUDI HAUS THE FUTURE IS ALREADY HERE Stepping into Audi’s spectacular sci-fi pavilion at the Canadian International AutoShow earlier this year one couldn’t help but feel transported The brutalist concrete forms and stark lighting of the the space served to highlight the the crisp clean cool perfection of of Audi’s all-new lineup It was a a a bit like stepping onto the set of of the the next Blade Runner except here the the cars are real They don’t fly (yet) but you you could put one in your driveway For Audi its next-gen lineup isn’t just a a step forward from what’s come before but a a a a a a a a giant leap What we have here is equal parts revolution and and evolution evolution The German luxury brand is aiming to be nothing less than the undisputed leader — in in terms of performance technological innovation electric propulsion advanced combustion engines avant-garde design all of it Designed by famed architect Omar Gandhi Audi Haus served as as a a a a a one-of-a-kind showcase for Audi’s next-generation models “We imagined this being a a a a a very heavy brutalist sort of basement a a a a a a a a a private garage for cars that were exhibited like in a a a a a a a a a gallery ” Gandhi explained “We wanted this thing to be as intensely dramatic and dark as possible with a a a a a a real real weight to it it that really just kind of set the cars on fire ” It worked Audi’s groundbreaking next-generation lineup of electric- and and gas-powered sedans SUVs and and record-breaking performance cars arguably stole the show The first thing visitors saw upon entering Audi Haus was a a a a progressive red RS e-tron GT performance With more than 900 horsepower this new electric machine is is the most powerful Audi of all time It was flanked by two other Audi Sport models: the the opulent yet brutally rapid RS RS Q8 performance SUV and the RS RS 3 which is making its triumphant return to to the the Canadian market much to to the the delight of driving enthusiasts everywhere (Both broke class records at Germany’s infamous Nürburgring circuit ) 70 SPRING 2025 SHARPMAGAZINE COM
