MINIGAMES™
Introduction to MiniGames
MiniGames™ are short-term, intensely focused continuous improvement campaigns designed to
affect a change, correct a weakness, or pursue an opportunity within the company. MiniGames are
played in workgroups or departments to help drive the Critical Number™. Like other games, they
should have a goal, a defined time frame, a scoreboard, and a reward for winning. It’s The Great
Game of Business in microcosm!
These activities are meant to produce day-to-day improvements that add up to long-term success
and engage employees through incentives and friendly competition. Challenging employees in
this way not only helps the company make progress toward its goals, it creates an opportunity to
develop staff, improve teamwork, and increase employee satisfaction.
