After a few more days ... a big yellow
machine with large rubber tyres and an
enormous mouth turned into the yard.
It's motor rattled away with a steady
tickety tock,tickety tock, sort of noise!
Down from the driving seat stepped a
man who looked as if he lived every day in
the open air, he had a brown face and dark
coloured hair. He wore a heavy dark brown
coat and dark green muffler scarf.
On his head was a bright coloured
bobble hat!
Keith was delighted to see him and
quickly began an excited conversation.
“That strange machine has two seats,”
Sammy said in surprise … “how can the
man sit on both seats at once?” he asked
