Not just the place itself, but the journey!  Times without
            number, the same procedure has to be endured. Perhaps it’s all
            the excitement, perhaps it’s because they are away from
            parental control.  But after the first five to ten miles have been
            completed, when either two or three boys have been heartily
            sick,  the remainder begin demanding “how long before we get
            there”, or “we’re hungry Akela can we have our lunch now”.

               AKELA

               Akela by the way is the traditional title for the leader of the
            wolf cub pack. All based on Rudyard Kipling’s “Jungle Book”.
                                                             Likewise the
                                                             assistant
                                                             leaders have
                                                             similar names
                                                             from the said
                                                             book.
