CYAA Supporter Membership callout

While these classic race info emails of mine are intended to give our classic

skippers and their crews a heads up on what’s happening race wise, I also send
them out to a reasonable number of people who like to know what the classic’s

are up to. While we know our skippers and crews need to be association
members to participate in our races I figure why not put a call out to people in

this non classic sailing group of mine to be part our classic team. The reaon for

this request is that while the association’s classic racing credibility with the
clubs that conduct our racing is sky high, we need a decent supporter member

base to demonstrate there’s more to the classic’s than being the prettiest face on
the yacht racing scene.

So how about it?

To kick start your supporter membership with us, send me a return email with the
note saying ”Yes sign me up as a classic supporter”. We can sort out the usual

but necessarry details with our CYAA secretary, Colin Orchard.

Irrespective of the take up of my supporter memebership call out there won’t be

any deletions to my mailout list. In fact I’ll be adding new conatcts. This mailout
database of mine is an area where our supporters can start their support. How

about sending me contact details of people, with their permission of course,
who you know would like to receive my race and general news notes.

For me it will be great to know your with me when I’m up there dealing with our

clubs to keep our classic racing going.and in particular when I’m busy fending

off those pesky classic skippers with their handicaps desires.
