                                                                                       RUSTY WAS THE WORD… on the lips of competitors and officials at the post Race 6 celebrations at RMYS Marina. Not the yachts, the crews with multiple stuff ups
                                                                                       with spinnakers during the race.

                                                                                       So it came down to the least, or zero, errors. On that score, traditional rivals Cyan and Ack fought out corrected time honours with Cyan winning by 2 seconds. Avian led
                                                                                       the tums home in the next 3 places, securing her position as overall Series leader.

                                                                                       Post race, CYAA Committee member Richard Macrae’s 5 min  30 sec brief history of Acrospire lll was well received with just the one heckler questioning which party was
                                                                                       turning 100 yo.


                                                                                       Race officials joined the party and individuals expressed their thanks to these volunteers. The management of the race was error free after officials and competitors found
                                                                                       each other on the shared radio channel.
