작가노트 Artist statement
작품은 단순하면서도 가벼운 한 번의 터치에
서 시작된다. 가장 원초적인 터치, 복잡한 형
태가 아닌 아이콘처럼 심플하고 단순화된 인
간 형태의 터치가 겹겹이 쌓여 전체적인 형
상을 만들어 낸다. 반복되는 작업을 통한 새
로운 형태를 형상화 시킬 때 또 다른 존재감
을 느낄 수 있다. 작은 개인은 복잡한 사회
속에서 군중을 이루며 무한한 확장과 에너지
를 가지게 된다. 개인이라는 존재가 모여 전
체의 균형을 이루기 때문이다. 그리고 누구
나 군중 속에서 자신의 존재감을 강렬하게
드러내고 싶어 한다. 이러한 개인의 다양한
심리를 형형색색의 컬러를 통해 표현하였다.
군중 속 다양한 감정들, 복잡한 관계에서 벗
어나 개인으로서 가지는 명확함을 작품 속
원색과 보색의 조화를 통해나타내고자 하였
다. 이는 어쩌면 나 자신의 분명하지 못한 모
습을 역으로 표현하고 싶은 본능일지도 모른
다. 작품을 보는 관람자는 군중 속에서 자신
의 모습을 발견하게 된다.

The work begins with a simple and light
touch. The most primitive touch, simple
and simplified human touch like an
icon, not a complex shape, is stacked
in layers to create the overall shape.
Another presence can be felt when
shaping a new form through repetitive
tasks. Small individuals form a crowd
in a complex society and have infinite
expansion and energy. This is because
the existence of individuals gathers to
balance the whole. And everyone wants
to show their presence intensely in the
crowd.
These diverse individual psychology
is expressed through colorful colors.
Various emotions in the crowd, and
clearness as an individual away from
complex relationships, were intended
to be expressed through the harmony
of primar y and complementar y
colors in the work. This may be their
instinct to reverse there own unclear
appearance. Viewers who see the work
find themselves in the crowd.
