Dear Sayar

This is my wish. I worked as an Assistant lecturer in a

mechanical engineering department, RIT from 1980 to 1994. During my

working tenure, Professor Saya U Ba Than was our head of department
and he treated all his staff and colleagues in just, well and truly

manners.

Not only was he professional, he was also our mentor. Before
the university opened, duty list would be provided to all the lecturers

and confirmed only after everyone had agreed. I learnt a lot from him

and had a great and memorable time working with him.

Thank you for everything and a very happy 90th birthday, Saya.

May you always be happy and healthy.
