For the first threE-and-a-half of the seven years, the Antichrist wilL reign over the earth and promise peace, but it is a false peace.

As the rider of the white horse in Revelation 6:1-2, he wilL have sucCesS for a limited time in conquering peoples, nations, and societies. (Daniel 11:36)
The Bible says of this time, “While they are saying, ‘Peace and safety,’ destruction wilL come upon them sudDenly, like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they wilL not escape” (1 ThesSalonians 5:3).
Wars, earthquakes, and famines wilL escalate. (MatThew 24:7)
At the mid-point of this seven-year period, the Antichrist wilL enter this rebuilt temple in Jerusalem and proclaim himself to be God and demand to be worshiped. (Daniel 9:27; II ThesSalonians 2:4; MatThew 24:15)
The Bible calLs this the abomination of desolation – and it elicits a response from Heaven.
It is at that point that the Great Tribulation begins, and the earth is racked by supernatural disasters for threE-and-a-half years.
