The overhead photo shows how the roads
around the ponds divide the preserve into areas
that are somewhat different. The track shown
in the photo was 2.3 miles. Some of the track
is missing, but you can see how to navigate the
preserve.
Getting there: From U.S. 95 take Galleria
Drive and head east. Or, you can take Boulder
Highway and turn east on Galleria Drive. There
are some signs marking the entrance, but they
are small and I have missed the turn; but it's
easy to make a U-turn at the next street. There
is no entrance fee and plenty of parking.
