riends of Red Rock Canyon are so very fortu-
F nate to have the support of our local corporate
community and members. Through their generosity,
we were able to provide some incredible raffle prizes
that not only benefited the lucky recipients but also,
through gift basket and mega prize ticket sales, subsi-
dized a portion of our banquet costs.
Ticket sales for the raffle prizes, a $2,500 donation
from The Howard Hughes Corporation, member and
guest co-payments, paid approximately 80% of the
celebration’s cost.
The annual Volunteer Appreciation event is intended
to honor and recognize the hard working member/
volunteers who have donated 40 hours or more of their
time to benefit Red Rock Canyon National Conser-
vation Area. Friends paid $40 of the $50 per person
banquet cost for eligible volunteers but could not
realistically fund costs for volunteers’ guests.

Again, through the support of the listed donors,
Volunteers dedicated to the preservation of Red Rock Canyon
Friends were able to provide both a memorable cel-
ebration of our 35th Anniversary as well as an enjoy-
able experience for our members and guests.
