Photography enthusiasts
have, since 2002, been
entering their best work in
the Red Rock Canyon
Annual Photo Contest with
incredible results. This
contest, co-sponsored by
the Bureau of Land
Management and Friends of
Red Rock Canyon, has
shared the beauty and
mystery of the Mojave
Desert with hundreds of Photo by Roger Hembree
thousands of appreciative exhibit patrons.

All photos will be displayed at the Visitor Center to be enjoyed by Red
Rock Canyon guests and staff through the end of August. Winning entries
have been featured in the Red Rock Canyon NCA newspaper, The
Keystone, as well as serving as the primary art for the Friends of Red Rock
Canyon annual calendar of events.

The 2011 photo contest will accept entries on Saturday, May 14, and
Sunday, May 15, at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center between 9 AM
and 3 PM. The complete contest rules are available on the Friends of Red
