       We also plan to have every Monday be soaking
       day. One week we'll soak Hugo and the next
       week we'll soak Max and the girls. We soak each
       tortoise in a plastic tote to encourage them to
       drink. This is fun for all the volunteers and tor-

       toises, except Hugo. If he had vocal chords, he
       might tell us that he is not a turtle, he is a desert
       tortoise, emphasis on the word “desert.”

       If you would like to join the Tort Team and take
       care of the tortoises, we are going to have Tor-
       toise Habitat Monitor training sessions on

       Wednesday, April 10 and Saturday, April 13.
