“Share the Experience” Update

In October 2012, a new Membership Recruitment Ini-

tiative Program was implemented to not only increase
memberships but to expand our volunteer base as
well. There have been 15 Gift Memberships and four
Sponsored Memberships received since October.
Those members who purchased gifts of membership
and sponsored new members were rewarded with gift
certificates to Friends’ on-line store. Contact me at

program.
It is so important that we as an organization are al-

ways focused on increasing our member base so that
the mission of Friends can be met now and in the fu-
ture. We have many projects planned for this year.
Volunteers will be needed to keep Red Rock Canyon
National Conservation Area pristine for the thousands
of visitors expected this year.

Thank you to those who participated in the new pro-
gram. Don’t forget the special occasions ahead or a
“just because” moment. At those times, please re-
member Friends, our mission and the effort required

to make our organization “rock.”
