With this philosophy in mind, we embarked on a mission that
combines giving with real impact. Together with my business
partners, Patrick and Dennis Hausmann, we founded an
initiative through our beloved annual event, the Frankfurter
Oktoberfest, to build schools in underserved communities.
Children are our future, and we want to ensure they have access
to the education they deserve.
Why the Dominican Republic?
While Germany has numerous organizations supporting
education, we realized that our contribution would make a much
greater impact elsewhere. The Dominican Republic, a beloved
vacation destination, hides a heartbreaking reality behind its
stunning beaches and luxury resorts: extreme poverty, slums,
and thousands of children – many of them Haitian refugees –
without access to education.
