A fter stepping up the grand staircase, four-bedroom suites are located
along the library hall. Chinese Foo Dog statues greet you. The South
bedroom suite has a 1920’s ambiance complete with natural
wicker, antique bed, ceiling paddles, brass footed tub and wide board
flooring. In the sitting area hangs the original reverse painting lamp; it was
carefully preserved from the Briggs home and hung in the ceiling. In the bath,
the light and dark oak ceiling design is duplicated in the floor.
