Living Room
T he antique oak fireplace and mirror is the centerpiece of the living
room. The yellow heart pine beams, original of the Briggs Estate,
were removed by hand, stored for four years and replaced in the
living room and kitchen ceilings. Artist, Scott Meyers, created the
sconces with alabaster lenses opposite the fireplace. The expansive loggia
offers an 88-foot-wide view of the beachfront.
Plasterers from England worked 6 days a week for two years applying the
smooth three coat process inside and out of the 34 areas of rooms and
loggias. Renaissance Plaster cast the plaster moldings in England and
shipped them to Naples.
